Initial attempts at meditation can have strange effects. many people think they see things or feel things. The key here is just to aknowledge the feeling thought or vision as just a manufactured mind event and let it go. look at it and let it go. remember to be gentle with your self tho. i know this sounds funny but if you "punish" yourself for having these thoughts you are just letting your mind back into control. shikantaza, or no mind, is the key here you will always have thoughts and feelings just learn not to feed them or let them run wild. like gently training a dog. GENTLY!....sit .....stay.....sit stay...
