Hello Kitama:

When looking at a sequence, (a smaller piece of the whole kata) assuming the movements/body placement of all the limbs, body parts are indeed not haphazard... how do we/you/I figure out what the PRINCIPLES/S of that particular sequence to be?

I am not asking how many variations we might find for a <searching for an exampple>..... 180 degree turn, INSTEAD I am asking how do we decode what ideas that kind of turn contains both on the surface and then afterward in more subtle ways?? How do any of us determine the ideas/concepts FOR a particular sequence, in terms of the bigger picture???
