This is an invitation to all to the Kinokawa Aikido training seminar on Saturday May 14th through Sunday May 15th. The seminar is being held at the Kinokawa Dojo located in Allentown, PA, U.S.A. Whether you're a current student at the dojo, or even if you've never stepped foot on our mat, we welcome you to come for the day and enjoy a day of instruction from Hanshi Wirth that will include basic and advanced hand-to-hand techniques as well as defense against weapons. The seminar will also include rank testing for black belts, which are open to anyone to watch.
Membership at the dojo is not required to join in the training. All you need to do is fill out the registration form and send it back to us with the seminar fee. If you have not received this form in the mail, you can find it online here: http://www.kinokawa.org/tempfiles/200505_seminar.pdf
We also welcome anyone who is interested in watching the seminar and tests; observers may attend for free.
After all the training, you're sure to be hungry, so please join us in the post-seminar dinner and get to know some of the people involved with Kinokawa Aikido (or just hang out with us if you already know us, because you know we're a fun group). You can find more information on the dinner on the seminar registration form. If you have any questions please contact us by phone at 610.439.8655, or at the e-mail address:
ABOUT KINOKAWA AIKIDO: Kinokawa Aikido's style is an expression of unified mind, body and spirit. Our movements are relaxed and natural. Our focus is sharp yet broad. Our resolution is unshakable yet responsive. Hanshi Wirth has forged Kinokawa into a realistic form that serves as an excellent method of self-defense equally effective against single or multiple attackers, both armed and unarmed. Because the lessons conveyed are intended to be useful in everyday life, they transcend the strict application of Aikido to defensive situations. With dedicated practice we come to intimately know the power, love and wisdom of Ki.
