Got a Kendo/Kumdo question for you.
My understanding: from ready stance (right foot forward)…in somewhat of a modified back-stance…right hand is just under the guard and left is at the bottom of the handle.
My question is: High block versus “reverse high block”. I have conflicting input.
Should your hands naturally be aligned right on rightside/left on leftside of body with the tip of the sword to the right – that being a High Block?
The other position being that the tip of your sword being to the left and your hands would be unnaturally crossed – being Reversed High Block?
