Hi i'm new here. I've been reading books and articles on the internet about "pushing ki" or "ki blasts" as i'v heard too, and i'v been getting a little progress but the results are slim to none. For instance, i have a room that has all my training equipment in, and in it i have a large pot filled with water. What i do is use my ki to make the water vibrate, but when i attempt this the water only vibrates a little, and i mean a little, about as much as throwing a few grains of sand in it. I'm wondering if anyone could help me with this problem, or give me any pointers. [IMG]http://www.fightingarts.com/forums/ubb/confused.gif[/IMG]

I have been practicing qigong for 8 years and have never seen anyone be able to vibrate anything. IF you can vibrate the water at all you are greater than every qigong master I have trained with.

I've read accounts of internal palm strike to watermelon - liquifying the inside or, directed to sections inside, with no damage to the shell which becomes apparent what vibration effect upon cutting it open.

I am not syaing that striking cannot employ chi, in fact I feel that strikes and locks are enhance by training to do so. However, you can not affect someone or something from a distance. Anyone who could do this is a fool for not taking up James Randi and JREF(James Randi Educational Foundation) on their big money challenge.
