Mediation Questions

High I'm new to this forum, any answer to my question would be greatly appreciated. Anywho, everytime I meditate, I begin to feel like everything is spinning around in a circle. I asked my girlfriend, who is really knowledgable on the subject, and she said she had no idea what's making me feel like I'm spinning. Could anyone please tell me what the spinning is or what it means, or something. Thank you very much,
Bruce

You dont have to meditate you can do Astral Plan, if you know how to do it already thats good, but you shouldnt feel like you are spinning, you might feel that way if you didnt eat or you did eat something you wasnt apost too before you meditated. Before you meditate make sure you run some just get your body moving, then relax for about 5minutes then try to meditate again.

It's not that unusual. Just a side effect of your chi moving. It's not bad and not good, different people feel different things and one is not better than another. Just continue meditating, pay it no particular attention, and it will pass.

One of the previous posts may be on target in that you may be only breathing in your upper chest, and not breathing abdominally.
Just a thought.

Or it could be from slumping over when in the lotus position when you meditate. Sometimes when I meditate I start rocking back and forth slightly. Plus, I wouldn't eat anything before meditating.

have you done any physical activity before you meditate? it could be that your body has a hard time adjusting to the changing conditions of moving one second and then sitting down to meditate the next.
youll know what im on about if your an experienced theme park goer

Ive not heared of this before but id reason that its lack of oxygen caused either by: i) bad posture ii) breathing intercostally (breathing as you would normally moving your upper chest) as opposed to breathing abdominally which you should be doing iii)just not breathing enough

why try to sound like an expert when it's embarassingly obvious one doesn't know what one is talking about? nevermind, I've been on the net for too long this day and have seen too much input of that kind, I must shut down before I throw up (or some modifier shuts me down.. and rightfully so)

Yeha, Spinning used to happen to me. I used to find that if i close my eyes, and look in a direction, i would feel this spinning sensation that would leave me lathargic. Try to relax your whole body, including your eyes and your brain. Shut it down the logical side of it.
And dont smoke hooch. Hate to say it, but it just stuffs it all up... In my opinion.
