I wonder whether or not you are a part of a martial arts school or boxing club. I hope so.
IMO, the idea is to learn the basic mechanics of a punching/striking/kicking technique with some guidance from your coach or instructor. Once you've done that and practiced it over and over, an article that breaks down the various components of a technique will probably make more sense and you might be able to get something out of it. It will also mean that you won't have to concentrate on remembering every last point in an article. The technique will feel more natural and then you can refine and perfect it.
In short, get some good instruction and practice the technique thousands of times.
