A few questions;

After reading countless threads the consensus seems to be that working out in the morning is the best time of day, because it helps speed up your metabolism and burn off anything you eat for breakfast right? But I ALSO read that a lot of people eat what seems to be a pretty bulky breakfast before a work-out too. Things like a large bowl of oatmeal, with fruit, nuts, and protein, etc..Why is this? I was under the impression it was better to work out before breakfast, and take protein AFTER the work-out..Is there really not much of a difference?

If you get a sufficient amount of protein in a meal, but are used to taking 2 scoops of protein powder a day regularly, is it ok to skip on the powder those days?

How does calorie intake/expenditure work? My current understanding from what I've read is generally is that you run to burn off calories and fat, but that you also have to INTAKE a certain amount too so you have the energy to actually perform this exercise? Do you get this through your meals throughout the day or just a really good breakfast?

And one last question, I have read that if you work a muscle group one day, that you shouldn't work the same one the consecutive day. But I find the next time I work the same group it doesn't feel any easier to lift the same amount of weight, any clue why that would be?

Thanks for helpin a newb

I don"t know did i really get the point but here it is: For gaining muscles without fat it is recomended - for each meal to eat 50% of carbo.(for weight) 30% of (for muscles and tishue) 20% of fat (it"s in almost anything so you don"t have to take it specially). And before workout it"s good to eat something light because you would probably throw up something heavy.
