Some combinations of food are simply poisonous to our bodies. Quates from Ulimited power Book by Anthony Robines how true is this with my practicing MA.
if it is true is that means that one meal is protin and veg, while other one is Carb with veg. with minimum 3 hours in between the meal
please help me to get this answer Thanks

Although some people swear by this, ask any registered dietician and they'll tell you it's a bunch of shight. Instead of worrying about food combos, I'd be concerned about the quality of what you are getting and when. It's old knowledge, but multiple, small, nutrient dense meals throughout the day, combined with plenty of water and daily exercise never made anyone fat

It's more alternative-nutrition hype than fact; think about it...humans have been combining carbs, protiens, and fats for how many years? Our digestive system has all the available enzymes to handle these types of food, and all at once. Now, overeating....yeah, that'll cause probs, everone knows that.
My advice: Don't worry about it.

If it means anything I always found my energy level up if I don't eat before training. I will usually eat a small light dinner when training is over around 9:00pm. If a regular meal is consumed before class it slows me down to much....to each his owne.
PS don't those people who consume all those garlicy dinners smell, it just reeks through thier sweat, although it is good for you.

As far as eating before training---everyone is very different. I find I need a good 2 hours between eating and training hard--if I don't, I feel like shight.
On the other hand, if I don't eat at all, or enough, I feel ok, but I'll "bonk" near the end of class, and run outa gas. It's a fine line.

Mike
I am no food combo nut but need to take issue here mate. Humans most likely have not been eating all the same things at the same time. If you look at early man he hunted and gathered. Hunts were dangerous and often not successful. This could lead to extended periods of time where not real protein (slain animal) food was available.
So one could say early man did the eating of sepratte food stuffs by accident though not all the time.
Interestingly I read somewhere that red meat takes about 3-4 days to pass through your digestive tract and out the rear end! So it makes sense in my book to limit steak eating (major vice for me ) to very four or five days.
Not really sure where i was taking this - am just doing a "listen to your body" musing post

**************************************** Must be an interesting class if you can bonk at the end of it . Now that what I call enlightenment in the Martial Arts

[This message has been edited by Nasser (edited 05-15-2004).]
from what i have learned in sports med, and bodybuild world is that when eating about every 2 to 3 hours a day speeds up your metablizem which we all know burns are hated thing, fat. now by mix deits might cause kitos which is the lack of carb in the kiddnies. what i try to eat is a higher protein diet with low in fat. with everything in it just more torwds the protien side, low fat becuase fat is the hardest to digest and the carbs with be truned into fat later. with i tell you is to keep resching and look into body build, because many dieticians know that the bodybuilding world has been leading in diets, because that is half the battle for bodybuilding.
