Yeah, long story short, buy legendary abs gold from
www.martial-arts-fitness.com and read the whole book and work on the athletics section - you will have a torso of steel with mega strong hip flexors to boot.
Also add lower back exercises in to support the spine and balance the stomach out - there are many but good old deadlifts, neck bridges etc. are as good as anything.
