Do you have any thoughts on what diet and suppliments are helpful to those in training and what is detremental?

Is meat a good source of protein, or are vegetable sources better? And what about milk? It has gotten some bad publicity lately.

What are the best suppliments?

Hello Chris,
A person really doesn't need any supplemetation if they eat right and train hard.The body will adapt to any given situation,if you need to loose weight you will,if you need to gain weight you will.To make sure you're getting the proper amount of vitamins and minerals,you might want to take a multi vitamin&mineral supplemant.As far as a protein supplement is concerned,that is if you don;t get enough in your diet.You can take a proten supplement but if you suffer from lactose intolerance stay away from the milk&egg protein types,there are also weight gainers out there that are lactose free.I believe that Gainers fuel produces one,read the fine print. Hope this is of some help.
