LOL, Jamoni , except to the chicken beak unless we are at cross purposes. What do you mean by chicken beak? I mean fingers together, using backs of hands in case of knife attack as being struck on backs of hands inflicts less trauma than else where and if an attacker has a knife chances are you WILL be cut (you as in all of us not just you personally). Would ya'll do me a favor.
When someone is obviously bashing a kid, When someone is obviously being rough with a beginner to look cool, When someone is using VERY strong language,
Please gently admonish them to lead by example...
It goes to credibility.
All of ours!

Don't just let it pass and pretend you don't see it.
Neither worry about creating an enemy.
Because if you cannot change their tone, then they are certainly not the types of people you want as friends...

Peaceful coexistence usually doesn't work though, unless all sides have something to gain from it...

Thanx Tae, will do.
I am a beginner too. But I don't want to "grow up into" one of those oh so almighty unreachable self-righteous sensei.
I am a little embarrassed about how I reacted to AC's post, "She insulted us, so let's be defensive and call her a troll!!" =_=;; So very aiki x_x
Will do better next time

Maybe they have.
I've been there. It took someone willing to confront my way of thinking in a non-confrontational manner to change my way of thinking.
You are proud of the title Sensei. I am proud that people in my life look up to me too. I think part of the reason that people look up to us is the perception, that to the best of our abilities, we are going to do the right thing.
If it's a troll, sobeit. If the person is just unreachable, sobeit. We owe it to ourselves to make every honest effort first. If we flame or confront quickly, then Mr. V has to perform the distasteful task of admitting that we, as a community failed to live up to our OWN proclaimed standards.
Get it?
