Raccoon, loved the article about Japanese [IMG][/IMG]

This is great fun too, sorry I don't know how to insert a hyper link.

Osu, everyone,
Like Judderman says, English is too difficult! Japanese is hard, too, but it's not as bad as English. So from now, I am going to wrint in Japanese instead.

BTW, Kiai is not English, it's Japanese! Stupid! (in Osaka Japanese) Stupid! (in Tokyo Japanese) ( [IMG][/IMG]) But this is interesting. Tell me, what does "kiai" means in English? My kouhai keep asking me, but I still couldn't figure out how to translate.

Mr. V, thank you for translating into English for us! From now on, I am counting on your service! [IMG][/IMG]
P.S. Turns out Mr. V wouldn't translate for me [IMG][/IMG] I will bet that's because I am Chinese and I am a woman, I am going to sue the forum for discrimination! [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

Sharon> Good one, nothing's funnier (!) than Japanese trying to speak OTHER language [IMG][/IMG] is the best one, any other vote??

Jud> Now that's some pretty heavy tattooing! Is that... thou mighty arse? [IMG][/IMG]

It is not just the Japanese that have trouble with English.

On the thread about spear hand strikes, I was making the point that whilst finger strikes can be effective if you condition your fingers (which I don't), I would always favour a punch rather than a spearhand.

Fortunately, before I submitted it, I re-read it. What I had typed was:

" personally, I would prefer a fist to fingers any day."

You see, Taebot was right about the proof reading! [IMG][/IMG]

............testing, testing, 1,2,3

What is up with this thread, Is it overloaded or have I been blacklisted?

I would say... both?

LOL, sounds like your computer likes to "act up" Sharon [IMG][/IMG]

Raccoon, the literal translation of the word kiai is "yell" You obviously already know what it means in a martial arts context.

BTW my computer only plays up on this thread.
