The histerical shouting should scare the crap of your oponent and if that doesnt work, then try climbing on his back and checking his head for bugs.

The down side: if you dont have a secure home you may wake up in a zoo cage or a mental hospital.

Speaking of bananas, have any of you brits ever solved the quandary of how to defend yourself against someone armed with a pointed stick? (Advanced topic, I know, but I feel we are past the "fresh fruit" stage of training.)
