That was a good read. Everyone described in the article shows true dedication to their martial art. I'm not sure whether I'd train through an injury that's healing but I admire your dedication for continuing despite old injuries.

Hello Victor:
We all age, how we choose to spend that time, use our finite energy has meaning. When do we respect the illness(es), the power of the injury and when do we set them aside, and practice in spite of them anyway...
Important questions.
A cold, a fever, should we truly practice in a group? Or wait? Blood pressure, inner ear, blood sugar, brain injury, body injury... when is practice a good idea? When should practice be set aside for a while, focusing solely on our recovery?
Broken stupidly... do we learn from our mistakes?

Good Post,
I've just had knee surgery to remove the tears from my meniscus, I trained thorugh the injury although it prevented me from doing a lot.
If I accounted for all my injuries I'd be bedridden. Two were from my time playing Rugby (similar to American Football but no safety padding) as a teenager.
