Rocky was relentless in his conditioning, and he kept coming at you. I think if he were fighting in this day and age against modern fighters, he would have a place among the top boxers of today, and would eventually become champ again.
As far as his place in the sport is concerned, he is one in a long line of great heavyweight champions.
