Dear Korean Martial Arts Practitionners,

The Korean Martial Arts Institute of Hwashin Cyber University is launching a new program, allowing international students to graduate in a Korean Language, Culture and Bachelor's Degree. The program is taught in 3 or 4 years, with on-line contents and off-line training camps. For 2012, students can learn Taekwondo or Hapkido

Since it is a new concept, we write on this forum to know if Korean martial arts practionners would find it interesting.

Can you take individual classes or do you have to register for the complete program?

I think What he means is 1 or 2 classes as opposed to a programme of say 12 classes etc

On review of the website it seems like a prospective student would have to register for an entire program. My question is can someone only register for a specific class or 2, rather than enrolling in a degree program.
In many academic institutions it is matriculated (program/degree seeking) or non-matriculated, which would be someone taking or auditing a class or classes, rather than seeking to earn a degree or take a whole program worth of classes. Many that have degrees already simply wish to supplement learning or take classes for enjoyment, enhancement etc, rather than seek a college degree, as they have already earned that or don't wish to get a degree.

So is it possible to just register for a class online, as compared to entering into a full program?

In order to fit the requirements of the Korean Education Ministry, we can not propose non-degree courses for foreigners.

Students have to enter in a full program.
