Welcome to the forum. Always nice to hear about folks interests outside of their martial art. Don't forget to fill out your Bio/profile. That is a good place to put the art you study, as well as your hobbies.

May be we can rescue this Thread by discussing the 'pigeon-toed' stance in the sanchin kata? before Brian comes back on with his pigeon pie which tastes like chicken pie.

....or talk about the albino white crane.
I'll rather be happy than right, anytime.

I collect and paint Warhammer 40k models, play lots of XBOX, and here and there I do outdoor stuff like white water rafting, fishing, etc. Honestly though I spend far more of my time doing martial arts.

I do some running 5 to 10 K distance.
I'm very fond of film and books (German literature, because of my studies). The occasional video-game (PC).
Next to that I love hillwalking/hiking.

I used to run a lot, even a few marathons.
Then I discovered Orienteering, also known as "cunning running."
In 1993 "Highlander the Series" came out and it was Iaido Forever!

Hey Ives, ever bump into Kurt Lasswitz's "Auf Zwei Planeten"?
