If I see a guy walking on water, I am not going to turn away and pretend I did not see it.

I will watch closely, and might evfen ask how it was done.

When the guy tells me how; by walking on the stepping stoes that are slightly submerged:
I do not yell magic, fraud, or trick.

I try it myself.

Then I might ask this guy what else he knows, and try it also.

An outsider calls this magic, or impossible;
wheras an insider class it a skill.

Some skills are unrelated, and might be called tricks.

When there are a set of skills that are related,
this is a QUALITATIVE jump in skill with a new energy or concept;
no trick.

If I see a guy walking on water, claiming to walk on water and I know he is walking on rocks just below the surface-I call him a fraud.
I might be interested in learning more about what he knows to identify future fraud.

"An outsider calls this magic, or impossible;
wheras an insider class it a skill."

So that would be an "insider class" skill would be cheap parlor trick? That's only a "skill" to a con man.

Would your discussion on this topic and your adherence to the "Chi" concept be directly related to your "new book"?

No one is claiming anything by walking over submerged rocks. If I have made a false claim, quote it now.

I learned Unbendable Arm in Aikido in the 1970s, along with Ki concepts used based on the sword and staff. Why is it that no one claims it now?

When the developers throw away their own tools, who am I to try and re-introduce it?

What happened to the Ki in Aikido?

I will answer some previously posted questions, and leave this thread.

Good point, and a valid question.

What I am describing is one of many of the properties of water, not the water itself.

You are correct in implying this as irrelevant based on a human body developing 100 PSI within his body or blood.

The fact water has this capability, is the analogy.

Another analogy is mercury; it flows with the density of bullets (lead), and packs a punch while being fluid.

Mercury is highly conductive, and sensitive to pressure; and wreck havoc even in small amounts electrically and toxicity.

Oh now, now his is saying Qi is mercury; ha, ha.

No, this is an analogy.

If I use the wind as an analogy
for an unseen force of Nature,
and then someone bottles the wind and says;
'this is not Nature':

I will agree.

I think you should bottle whatever it is that you're on.

I'm on water.

Much can be learned about their stance as it adjusts to momentum; by using a Skim board/ Boogie Board.

Since the board does not have grooves or a rudder, it is steered by your intent and control of your forward momentum, centering and moving root.

I could theororize all day without progress to someone that has not done it.

Test your stance by standing in waist deep surf water, keeping stance the same with returning undertow.
