Looks cheesy but fun (making Kato the brains of this whole thing and Britt Reid a joker). I remember the short lived series in the 60's and even had a Green Hornet Halloween costume. May have to see it just for childhood memories sake!

Went to see it last night (in 3-D). It is EXACTLY as I describe above. Very cheesy and even quite silly and stupid at times and I HATE this build up with 3-D, It is NEVER as good as advertised and DEFINITELY not worth the extra $4.75 on the ticket ! Kato is the brains and Britt Reid a big goofball. Positive sides is the comedic aspect gives you some good chuckles, Cameron Diaz being easy on the eyes (I think she has a great smile) and though alot of the action parts are unbelievable, they're fun to watch (as well as the martial arts scenes). Nothing like the series as I remember it and a very small tribute to Bruce Lee as Britt Reid flips thru a sketch book of Kato's and looks at a drawing of him. I suggest waiting for it to come out on video or PPV before going to the theater.

TERRIBLE!
Oh I couldn't figure out if it was suppossed to be a comedy, action film, suspense, who done it, as it tried to be everything all rolled into one & I think it failed on all accounts. (Now I voted for the remake of Karate Kid as best MA movie of 2010 & The Warrior's Way as the best action MA movie I saw in 2010, so that will give you some sense of my taste)
The interaction between all the actors was just not believeable. The best actor, Edward James Olmos didn't get any screen time to work his talent.
I wonder what he thinks about this film
