What style of grappling do you, or did you, practice? For the sake of this Poll, MMA grappling is hybrid grappling that has no defined single source e.g. grappling you would learn in an MMA gym that is a composite of various sources.

Please feel free to pick more than one.

"Folk Styles" refer to just that; indigenous styles from coutries around the world e.g. Cornish Wrestling, Glima, Sumo, Shuai jiao etc...

If you put down " Other ", feel free to expand on what it is you did/do. Also feel free to comment regardless of what you put as your answer!
What style of grappling have you studied?

Neutralize attacks via standing grappling via meaningful kata study (ie principles).

I selected Folk Style,Judo,BJJ and Collegiate, submission wrestling, mma. I have some experience in all of them, some much less than others but I cant deny the influence they have had on the way I think, train and grapple.

Did Greco Wrestling in school for 3 years which even though was many a years ago, the basics stuck with me as did the love of grappling. BJJ in our school with small bits of MMA. Had started Judo earlier this year; currently on hold.

I have expirience in HAPKIDO AND CHIN-NA(Chinese Grappling). U guys would be surprised on how similar it is to every other grappling art.I guess the main difference is that CHINNA is more of an INTERNAL grappling art... U'll see chin-na in art like TAICHI, BAGUA, XING-YI if tuaght properly and for real...

I'm a judo boy. Never done any other grappling art, although I've practiced groundwork with TKD and Karate guys, and obviously won
