Prizewriter Professional Poster Registered: 10/23/05 Posts: 2546	http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/foyle_and_west/8144511.stm This is a terrible thing to happen to anyone, but this women did pretty well in the circumstances: i) Prepared for the worst (carried a stick with her in case of a dog attack. In the UK/Ireland, civilians are very limited to what they can have on their person in terms of a weapon). Also having a mobile phone with her. ii) Awareness, she knew the guy was there, she had an instinct something was wrong. iii) Reacting to being grabbed. I wish more women would be interested enough to take a self defense course. _________________________ The older I get, the better I was!
