What are those words, if they have a category, that are misued per:
Chai tea (Actually Chai translate to tea) so this is like saying "Tea Tea"
PC computer (PC means personal computer-used out of context to mean IBM based machines) "Personal Computer Computer"
Bo Staff (In martial arts a staff is a quarter stick-bo is the Asian term and translates the same) "Stick Staff"
Aregent Silver "Silver Silver"
Can you think of any others?

It's kind of similar to RAS(Redundant Acronym Syndrome) Syndrome.

Runs Batted In (RBI) is often said (or written) RBIs, much to the aficionado's chagrin.

Would you rather RsBI? I always thought that RBI was Run Batted In. Because if someone had 1 RBI then your way it would be 1 Runs Batted In, which is incorrect. So therefore RBIs would be correct for multiple and RBI for singular amount of runs batted in. I love semantics, best way to waste time.

But RBIs is Runs Batted Ins, and that "s" there is wrong.
It is understood that the singular plural would be used if the acronym were spelled out. The extra "s" is just wrong, because the word can't be "ins" in this particular case.
