What do you get when you re visit the concepts of the 70's mercenary movies like 'Wild Geese' and 'The dirty Dozen', but do so with a cast that reads : Stallone. Mikey Rourke. Jason Statham. Jet Li. Randy Couture. Dolph Lundgren. Forrest Whitaker. and is rumoured to also include the return of Mr T.

You get this:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1320253/fullcredits#cast

I dont think I have ever been more excited about a movie in my life

Cord, you were saying something about this on XBox Live. That is an amazing line up and I would be very interested in watching.

- Rourke just put on a remarkable performance for The Wrestler; not to mention will be having a reoccuring role on Sin City 2.

- Statham has his moments and has been type casted into a certain persona but I have enjoyed him on more then one occasion.

- Stallone; can't say anything bad about him. Guys not only older but still solid and getting better. To think he was one of the original cast members of Death Race 2000 in 1975 and now joining up with Statham.

- Sandra Bullock; only rumored but I've always liked her as an actress.

- Jet Li; a big fan. Not into the flashy kicking but has been in some remarkable movies.

- Dolph Lundgren; teaming up with Sly again after so many years; just watched Rocky IV last night. He certain has a presence about him but not enough for me to watch any of his movies.

- Randy Couture; love the guy BUT if he has another performance like the Scorpion King 2 ... I may have to boycott him as an actor and request he stays to fighting.

- Forest Whitiker; always up in the air with this guy; like some of the parts he plays while others don't. Iffy on him for this.

Definitely can't wait to see some trailers to get a feel for this bad boy.

I pretty much feel the same way on all the actors dereck, and I definitely need to get around to seeing the wrestler.

Update: Stallone has broken his thumb rehearsing H2H fight scenes - insists it is not a problem and training/filming is on schedule. Arnie has agreed to a cameo appearance. Danny Trejo is looking like being added to the cast.
JCVD was offered a part and turned it down on grounds that the character he would play lacked depth!!!

You just cant help some people.

Yep, but I am still hopefull for at least a cameo from Mr T to top it all off. I mean, this is already the dream movie that me and my friends concocted on our skateboards as kids, so it only needs BA Baracus to finish the fantasy

What is with you Brits and your fascination with Mr. T?

JCVD ... now that is funny. He's been doing B and C movies for so long; and perhaps some D movies. You would think he would jump at this opportunity to to work with this cast. Perhaps it has more to do with sharing the lime light.

Mr T was simply the baddest man on the planet as far as the youth of 80's Britain was concerned. I remember in the last year of junior school, when the A-Team first started in the UK, our headmaster Mr Thomas, instantly got christened 'Mr T', and he loved it!!! If we had even thought of calling him by an informal name before that, we would have been in trouble.

That is the power of 'The T'. Recognise.

We are all getting older, knees get creakier, hair stops growing on your head, and starts growing in your ears. Life gets busier, training gets harder, and we decline into an inevitable autumn.

INEVITABLE LIKE HELL!!!!!

ladies and gents, I give you Mr Stallone, training at 62 years of age:
