The Dream lightweight tournament has been amazing! The final event completely lived up to expectation, with an amazing grappling match between Aoki and Uno, and a great slug-fest between Alvarez and Kawagiri.
It was a big shame that Alvarez wasn't able to fight in the final, but Hansen was a great replacement, having been completely electrifying in his match with Alvarez last time round- that was BTW a good candidate for fight of the year. The lightweight division across the world continues to blow my mind as the deepest, most technical and most exciting division in MMA.
