ARR. My first new post in what feels like years. I've stayed with TKD for the past year, but it was on the back burner. I got married 4/6/08, and I'm working on getting in physical shape so I can pass the physical for my black belt test in December and to also become a cop.
Now, for my issue. Whenever I do pushups or situps, my neck gets really tense, to the point that it is actually sore, but not actively hurting. I try to relax it out while on the mat, but I don't always have the time, and it doesn't always work. I will roll my head around and try to stretch it like I would a crick. Any ideas on how to release the tension?
