What is your age jude?

The only thing I'm at a loss about is what the hell you are talking about, ever.
Like I asked before Are you talking about age uke in the Franklin fight
Brian yes can you see it? if so can you post the timer on the video where the age uke is? as in 3.45 for example.
I will make a suggestion. If you state every karate technique and the kata they belong to on every Machido video you posted then I might answer your question. If you cant then how can you reach the conclusions you posted?
You could ask Zach to help you.

I have already done it on the first video.
And Brian can you stay on topic?

CXT, if what you are saying is true then this whole thread is pointless. If Machida says he is using karate then he is because karate is then whatever people want to do with it. In fact, anything anyone says about karate is true because they said it. Am I missing something? What do you believe we should use to define karate, or do you believe karate is something that cannot be defined by techniques, principles, or any other label?

LMFAO ok, I think you are just messing with us lol, I can't imagine anyone would take this stuff seriously.
Are you for real? Mesopotamia?
Mind boggling "evidence" you showed us there. So why don't you give us a link or academic source to look at?
Nope and I think you might consider helping Brian to work out what the karate techniques are and to which kata they belong to. Seen as that is staying on topic.

Well he is using karate, the problem seems to be Brian cant even seem to see the age uke that was part of the sequance on the first video let alone state which kata it is in. So Brian would you care to state the timer on the video where Machido is using age uke?

Jude,
what are you going on about?
there are very strong links to China (and to Japan, but that is a little more recent IMO), as shown in both the very early name of karate (tode, china hand), and also the adjustment/creation of kata based on Chinese Quan practice.
Okinawa had significant tribute with China for many, many years, the Kojo family had a dojo in China, where many Okinawans stayed and have recorded training from, the chinese seny many family's to Okinawa, Okinawa sent high class youngsters to China for education in culture, for many, many years.
If you have a serious interest, read George Kerr's The History Of An Island People, it will outline the political/social/economic history in a sensible way for you to begin to make some more relevant and accurate ideas/conclusions.
sorry a little rushed this morning so may well be some errors in this post etc etc, but you should 'get' my point.

And this evidence is where.............?
Hi Matt just been reading your BJJ log. The evidence is actualy on Okinawa/islands. The problem is the specific dating of the evidence. I have no doubt the full story will appear at some time in the future. It would be good when it does.
Any way time will tell and I hope your BJJ training goes as good as the last one.
Jude
Jude,
yesterday you said the "proof" for this was not in Okinawa but in Mesopotamia. Get your story straight! In advance of the full story, why not give us what you have got?
B.
