student_of_life Veteran Registered: 10/12/05 Posts: 1032 Loc: Newfoundland, Canada	my stances are a little higher then my instructors, so i guess its just a preference. i've seen lots of shotokan guys, both in the itkf and in other groups that use lower and higher than mine. i can go lower if i have to, but i find it easier, faster and stronger the way i do it now. always room for improvement though. _________________________ its not supposed to make sense
