The best way to be end a fight, is to use your mouth instead of your fists, at my school, there are so many idiots that push me in the back, now, if i turn around and make a big deal of it, and act all annoyed, then that's when they take the mickey, and get what they want. So, i calmly say to them something like, why did u push me in the back, and if they say cos i wanted to, id say something like, well, that was intelligent of you.

The problem is, i study jeet kune do, which is an aggressive martial art, it's a SF art, yes, but, instead of blocking then pushing, as soon as you see the punch coming, you either block and attack in one attack, or you attack them fist, before they have a chance to make contact - your best defense is offense tactic.

Anyway

This tall lanky kid a year older than me was hurling offensive comments at me, i told him that if he has a problem with me, then he should come up to me, and say it to me eye-to- eye, not 20 metres away from me, not, he isn't a bad person really, but was trying to act tuff to his mates, so he came over looking all cocky etc, i didn't want a fight, cos i would have badly hurt him, he reminds me of the guy in Game Of Death that bruce lee fights, y'know, so he suddenly swung a punch at me, as he was obviously not a fighter, her threw a biigg, rooouuunnndd, slow, uncoordinated punches. I just pushed him really hard on his shoulder, so that it gave him a dead shoulder, this was when the punch was at about 6 o'clock in it's flight. He grasped his arm, and got in a rage, throwing punches all over the place, i simply stepped back, examined, gave a few punches to his face, then a real good punch to his stomach, with perfect from, i felt the energy from it, but, i did pull my punches abit, as i felt abit sorry that he was that desperate.

Anyway, i got him in a wrist lock, so his palm was pushed into his forearm, and then collapsed his leg by kicking the back of is leg said to him, that he should hang around with friends who appreciate who he is, and not mix with the wrong people and have to fight to prove it. anyway, he was okay, recovered fully in about a week, i think it just shocked him.

The morale is, that most of these people a either drunk, or have been brought up badly, they weren't born like it.

btw, i had no aggression at the beginning of it, and he threw the first punch.

Another problem is that, the person who lands the first punch is 9/10 times the of the fight, so you should always be on your toes in those sort of situations, and just look to see if any part of him is twitching etc. and then you'll know.

Can we rename this forum the kiddie crap forum?

At least the "morale" is always high in these stories.

Jeeze what is it whith Aussies, alchohol, and fighting? In the past year I've been in 2 serious fights. TWO! I know another guy whose been in 5 or 6 and he's the most aggressive guy I know. You've been in what, 50? Here we have football for a national pastime, there you have drunken brawling.

Why are you so averse to confrontation even when it's justified? The Crab did exactly the right thing. You're SUPPOSED to stick up for your girl when someone gives her unwanted attention. What is your solution, just sit back and say, "Oh sure my good man, she's great. Can I interest you in a room and smokes as well?" D*****bag.

That story reminds me of the kids during my high school days that got confrontational when another guy merely looked at their girlfriend.

I think if you read cords post you would know why. Like cord said, when the guy interjected the drunk dude now is pi$$ed or getting there maybe even thinking of the guy as a threat. I agree and that the g/f should have deescalated the situation. My wife would be the first to tell someone that she is with me. If then the guy doesn't get the hint then I get involved. Also, like cord said go to nicer places.
