Yes!!!
I am officially going to get a membership for a local gym.
I will be going everyday except probably Fridays, however, it depends.

So I will be doing strength training Mondays, Wednesday, Saturdays, and Sundays. Sundays I will have to find a different set of exercises, since my body will need rest for the muscles I worked out.
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays I have kung fu. However, Saturday kung fu is in the morning, so I can do strength training afterwards. In order to save my strength for kung fu, I am going to work on cardio on these two days.

First off, how does this look?

Next, I need some additional workouts for my routine on my strength training days. As posted in an earlier thread, I have dumbbells at home, and I will have a barbell and machines at the gym. My goal is to get stronger and bigger.
Pretty much:
-legs: primarily strength
-upper body: going for bigger, more than strength, however, still want to perform some strength training exercises

Legs
-squats
-leg presses
-calf raises (need more strength for jumping)

Can someone give me help on a good upper body workout?
Including a lot of bodybuilding exercises with a few strength training exercises such as bench pressing.

First of all, if you insist on lifting on these days, then cardio isn't going to save your strength anymore than a tough lifting session. The best way to handle it would be to lower the volume of lifting. Personally though, if you can't go to the gym and work 100%, then I would leave it on those days. Heck, two awesomely intense workouts a week is better than 4 half-assed workouts.

I understand your workout goals, but I think it would be better just to set up a basic workout schedule that incorporates a few big lifts (squat, deadlift, Bench and Pull-up/Shoulder press).

Ah, really no such thing as a "bodybuilding exercise," the most effective exercises for strength building and bodybuilding are the basic compound lifts. Whether you're focusing on getting bigger or stronger is mainly decided by the volume and heavyness of the workout.

Also, why leg press if you're already squatting. As far as I am concerned, the leg press if just an inferior version of the squat.

Yes I plan on incorporating the squat, deadlift (forgot about that one), bench pressing, etc.

I am used to cardio before kung fu since football season earlier this year. I do not get as worn out as if I did strength training. I am already in good shape as it is, so my cardio does not have to be real intense before kung fu.

As I have heard, bicep curls are not included when it comes to compound workouts. And I just want some of those basic exercises edited into my routine. I would like just a few isolated exercises that do not get as much of a workout as others muscles like the chest and triceps.

And I did not think about the leg pressing and squats as the same thing. I shouldve thought of that first.

So, let me get this straight, you want to train 7 days a week, focussing on strength, power, muscle mass, MA specific performance and cardio fitness.

enthusiasm and kamikaze work ethic are simply no substitute for sensible appropriate training. Go into things with your above plan, and you will be injured, and/or overtrained within 5 weeks.

You will not only need to rethink your plan, but actually change the way you percieve the relationship between work and reward in regards to training- more is more, not more is better.

Well when I say train everyday but Friday, it actually means planning to train as much as possible but things always come up.

Right now I do MA and cardio. And I want to put both muscle mass and strength training in the same category, since from everyones perspective they same to be the same thing.
I understand what you mean when you say I will get worn out. But training Monday, Tuesday, Wed, Thursday and Saturday isnt too bad is it?

No, from any reliable source, they are distinct training goals. Bodybuilders will get stronger, and weightlifters will have good musculature, but the training is completely different, dependant on what you are aiming for.

If you are working hard at your MA and cardio fitness, then you have less bodily resources to devote to muscle growth. Rest is vital for improvement- training is the request you make of your body to improve, rest is the time yo give it to comply. If all you do is keep piling request one on top of the other, the body gets overwhelmed and cannot fullfill your wishes.
