Well, Ive always felt very relaxed meditating, this was long before I discovered Martial Arts, well, their is this hill that I have been practicing/working out at. Its the most secluded relaxing place ever. Theres a creek by it. Well I love meditating their but hate doing it in my own house why do you all think that.
Im a fighter...

There could be a million reasons why that is. I doubt that I could pinpoint exactly why since we're separated by the atlantic ocean.
My guess is though that you have attached a certain significance to the place or that you associate your house with some emotion or thought. Either way they're both forms of attachment and if you can overcome it then you should make progress. It could also be due to distractions, and nature does seem to have a relaxing effect on most people.
Still, if meditating and practising there works for you, then there is probably no problem.
Sticks n stones'll break my bones, but if I land the first one, you're in trouble!

get a sound machine that has a brook sounds. I go use to meditate anywhere; to the point where I can get rid of my pain of my hernia and appear "normal"
being smarter then the average man, my mistakes tend to be worse then the average man

JKD has a good point... it is likely some association. Overcoming it might not be the easiest thing you have ever done, but it is very do-able.

An old spiiritual teacher of mine used to say "If you can't meditate in the face of a hurricane, you can't meditate."
