No, Marcus Brinkman did not study with Su Dong Chen. He studied with Hong Yi Xiang and with Luo Dexiu. Su Dong Chen was a student of Hong Yi Xiang and a classmate of Luo Dexiu's. If I remember correctly, when that clip was originally released, the producer stated that he was playing with an effects program. This is the only clip from that video that I am aware of. Although the effects detract from the clip they were not added to intensify the viewing pleasure so to speak. _________________________ Chris Haynes

Brinkman was not studying under Hong when Su was there (so far as I know.) I can see where they could be considered brothers, but not quite from the same generation if you know what I mean. Mr. Brinkman considers Luo to be his teacher so I don't know what that would make Su. An uncle possibly? _________________________ Chris Haynes
