marmaduke Member Registered: 10/26/06 Posts: 177 Loc: Ohio	The mekugi on my sons sword keeps coming loose. Causing the tang to rattle slightly. I'm ready to get a dowel rod and squeeze it in to keep the tang tight. Somewhere I heard that the mekugi is tapered and can only go in from one side. Is this true? Any "at home" replacements I can come up with to get this tang to tighten up? _________________________ It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
