make a boook
Taiji takes a long time to learn (one guy said ten years to one of kung fu), but I've yet to start. (one of these days)
thanks for sharing!

This may be true, but if you spent the required training for taiji, then you attain an understanding of natural human body movement the translates into all areas of your life.
posture may be key to martial arts, but it's also key to confidence, social interaction, present awareness, relaxation and alpha male behaviour to name a few. I've trained kung fu for 8 years, but it was only when I started taiji 3 years ago that I stopped performing techniques and started moving the way my body wanted me to.

It's been rather quiet so I thought I post up a few more articles. I've been writing my 'Lessons of Taiji Student' series for the Martial Arts Standard magazine in the UK here are a couple of them:

November Issue - Touched by Tai Chi
http://www.combatarena.co.uk/essextaichi/articles/taichibytouch.html

December Issue - The Tai Chi River
http://www.combatarena.co.uk/essextaichi/articles/taichiriver.html

And here's also the write up that I done on a course I went on over the summer in Jizerka in Czech run by Bossman from the forum:

Cheers Chris, I'm glad you're enjoying them. Here's one that was in the March edition of MAS "Stealing the Inches"
