On the night of December 24, our planetary neighbor will shine in the night sky brighter than any star. Story here Warning: Copy of story may be TOO NERDY for some! Look for it near the moon. I don't have more information than that. When it gets dark, go outside, look up, and search for something red and twinkling. That's Mars. If you're as nerdy as I am, this is very exciting. If you are less nerdy than I am, please don't attempt to give me a swirly. If you are more nerdy than me, the ones with long hair, soft skin, and no pimples are called "women".

If you have a pair of binoculars (even a weak pair) it will look even more impressive. When its close like that, its AMAZING what you can see with a $50 telescope from Walmart.
