This is a really really anticlimatic story, but has a point

I used to be really disapointed that i couldn't do the double kick and land with the same foot. Also, i also had trouble doing an ariel without heaps of cartwheels to build up speed first
I finally got how to do both of them today
But it wasn't that i figured out a mistake i had been making

It was because i practiced and practiced and practiced and got out early for a few days just to practice
And in the end it was worth it

What system to you train? Let me guest Extrem team TKD? Let me stop assuming, I've seen some Extreme Shotokan team stuff that looks quite the same. Good find I guess, keep working out.

i try to do some of that stuff, like 540 hook kicks and flying sidekick then back kick in the air. haven't gotten the 540 yet (got a left ankle injury a while back from the attempts) and i think the sidekick/backkick (which i now nail) contributed to my currently broken right ankle.
