Man, does Randy Couture know how to hand out a beating, or what?

I was really looking forward to the GSP/Koscheck fight, but that one turned out boring.

The swing fight they showed after the main event was ok, but I was hoping they'd show the one that explains why the mat had so much blood on it before the first televised fight!

Had my chance to see it over at a friend's house.....and fell asleep.

He said Randy's fight was very good. I haven't checked to see if the fights were online yet.

glad to see GSP on his way to to title-dom, all the same though, im suprised he won given his preformance in his last "fight" i guess he really does work as hard as every one says.

Was at a wedding on Saturday so recorded it and watched it last night. I was happy GSP won and that he was able to take down Koscheck and control him, but Koscheck is a real fighter and has come a long way. GSP is pure class and I wish him the best. Randy is the man and will always be. He took some shots and even said he was seeing stars. He even took a kick to the head that he did not block and still came forward and worked his game up against the fence. Greco Roman, some dirty boxing and he played his game to a "T" and won in with a TKO in the 3rd round. When Gonzaga told the ref he couldn't see in the 2nd round, it should have been stopped there. You fight or you quit you don't get to wipe your eyes and I'm glad Herb Dean said that as well and made them take back their position. There were some decent fights but not the best card I've seen though Randy and GSP were really what I wanted to see so was great they both won. And Patrick Cote won as well so what a way of starting it.

Lots of good events coming up to watch including the new season of the Ultimate Fighter. They showed previews and this time they seriously destroy the house. Wanderlei Silva "The Axe Murderer" signing up with the UFC should be awesome as well. I'd like to see him put up against Tito for a rematch plus Chuck. With that said, Rampage couldn't handle Wanderlei in Pride so I wonder how Tito and Chuck would do. I think Tito would lose big time but Chuck I'd say would be a great fight. I think if Chuck fought Rampage again it would be a different story as well.

Lots of great things for the UFC in September so watch for them.

i thought this was way and above the best UFC i have seen for years. Every fight was exciting.

How strong is Randy Couture!? He was giving away 24 lbs, and just rag-dolled every round. He is not just the absolute master of the clinch, but his striking is just amazing- his use of the shoulders and elbows in the clinch was a masterclass. He should change his ring name to 'supernatural'
I thought Huerta's presence of mind to use the TV monitors to strike when he had given his back away was truly the work of a genius That was a great fight.
The fight of the night, however, for me, was Stevenson vs Pellegrino. I dont think I have ever seen a better MMA fight- all ranges, all aggression, all out. this was to MMA what Barrera vs Morales was to boxing, and if Dana has any sense, he will organise a rematch for the near future.
