Hiya Guys,
Are there any clubs in the South Manchester/East Cheshire (Stockport areas, Altrincham areas) United Kingdom who have training places available for Non-Jewish students. I have tried before at one club but indirectly advised "...I am welcome if I was Jewish". I think Krav Maga is a perfect style for me I have purchased many Krav Maga Books and DVDs but this does not replace having an excellent instructor

There is a guy called Tony who runs 2 sessions a week in Fallowfeld I think. I am looking to start KM, and have signed up for a 1 day into/self defence course in Bolton on 1st September. Tony has a website and his number is 01204 306 121.

Appologies, I searched my email list an it looks like I have deleted it. I remember I even showed it to one of my Jewish friends at the time. I know the responder mentioned that the Krav Maga club was attached to the Maccabi (or something like that) so was limited only to those attending the Maccabi. But I really don't wish to rock the boat, I just want to train in what I think is an excellent style.
I think Imi Lichenfield himself said ...He wanted everyone regardless of race, religion or creed to be practicing this style... (or something like that)
I hope I'll find one soon before I get too Old.

well like i said there is Tony Bradley who runs a KM club in Manchester - there is also Craig and Debbie Welsh who teach Kapap over in Sheffielf www.kapapsheffield.co.uk , i now train in Kapap in Sheffield and find it to be more reliable than KM

Although a very old post and may of been answered elsewhere within this forum, I thought I will update and offer my insight, as it may be of interest to someone. As Manchester Maccabi in Prestwich is a Jewish Sports venue, I too thought the same, however the facilities and Krav Maga is open to everyone, regardless of their religion and nationality etc. http://manchestermaccabi.org/kravmaga.aspxThere is also: http://www.fitness365academy.co.uk/
