I was wondering if anyone could recommend me any books on cardiovascular fitness. If possible, one with lists of cardiovascular exercises that can be performed.

Almost any book on Aerobics would get the job done, or you could simply join an aerobics class at the local health club. Dr. Kenneth Cooper wrote a book called "The Aerobics progam for total well being", and it has loads of that information. It's ISBN number is 0-87131-380-4 My copy was printed in 1982, so try E-bay for one... or simply google "aerobics exercises" and see what comes up.

I found a copy on Amazon, now I just have to place an order. Thanks a lot.

I just recently received the book through the mail and I have to say it's a pretty good book. However, it didn't have what I was hoping for. While it did give exercises, it didn't give any specific ones. I was looking for something more specific rather than general aerobics. It didn't give me any exercises I could perform at home, such as jump roping or ones I haven't seen before. It didn't even give you variations of the general aerobic exercises it had, such as running, jogging, walking and swimming.
Either way, I really appreciate your recommendation.

Well Dude, all I can tell you is that aerobics are aerobics... all the exercises do the same things (that's why they're called "aerobics") If you're looking for "kickboxing aerobics", try Billy Blanks Tae Bo... it's a "looks like karate" aerobics program, and to hear the people who've done it, it's martial arts... For that matter, you can simply do your basics to a good CD like "Word of Mouth" by Mike and the Mechanics or "Flashdance" , and if you don't stroke out during the songs, you'll definitely get into shape...

I appreciate the offer, but no thanks. Quote:

While it is true that aerobics are aerobics, there are many different aerobic exercises. I'm simply looking for a book of specific aerobic exercises and how to do them, nothing less.
