Ryu Te(r) Ren Mei is Taika Seiyu Oyata's organization.
The Ryukyu Kempo Alliance that those videos come from is comprised of several people that used to train with Mr. Oyata and are no longer affiliated with him for various reasons.
The first video is a small snippet of the kata, "Chizi kun bo no kun".
This is the first Chizi kun bo kata normally taught and has been taught in Mr. Oyata's organization for years. He taught a basic "foundation" or framework version which some people call "basic" (Though Mr. Oyata prefers foundation)
The more advanced version of the kata is quite a bit different with quite a bit different footwork and a ton more hand motion. The video shows about the first 7 moves and looks to me to be somewhere between "foundation" and "timing" versions. Of course the person in charge there (person in the second video) has been away from Mr. Oyata's tutelage for many years and we all drift and adjust.
There is another Chizi kun bo kata that Mr. Oyata had taught this past year at Summer Conference. He worked with one of his yudansha for about 3 years on this kata alone before he allowed her to show portions of it to anyone. So this one was first introduced to the public at the 2007 Summer Conference. As with a lot of his weapons forms that he has released/taught in the last few years, he has not released the name. He basically says that when we get the kata to a point where it is correct enough, he'll tell us the name. So I'm assuming it will be quite a while.

At any rate, Ryt Te(r) Ren Mei practices two chizi kun bo kata at the moment. As far as knowing how many more are in his head that he learned, or developed on his own, nobody knows but him.
There was a video of Chizi Kun Bo no Kun out there, produced by Oyata Enterprises floating around about 20 years ago but they quit selling it. It was a weapons video that they produced with Taika sitting in the background while people performed various weapons kata in front of him in foundation version and "timing" version, facing forward and once facing back. At any rate, it is out of production at the moment but is still copyrighted so I can't post any of it up on youtube. I hope others that may have this honor Mr. Oyata and not post any "bootlegs" either. Not that it is possible to learn much from a video anyway, but it is still disrespectful to "steal".
Your best bet to see either form would be to attend a training seminar of Mr. Oyata's or possibly visit an association dojo. Don't know where you live.
Dojo and Seminars are listed at:
http://www.ryute.com/A few good pics of proper chizi kun bo are located at
http://www.bushiteweapons.netfirms.com In all, I'd say it is one of my favorite weapons, bo being my favorite and chizi being second. They are easy to carry, easy to hide, and if someone asks what they are you pretend you are a drummer and say they are mexican clave.

Thanks for listening.
