Tuesday
Kungfu Class

-warm up
-partner stretching
(30 minutes)
-break
-self defenses
-attack: punch defense: exchange blocks, with forearm strikes to ribs
-same thing but strike to head
-attack: step punch defense: circle block into a palm strike
-attack: close range double punch then hook punch defense: 2 close pai lum blocks, 3rd block was more of a strike to their bicep stopping them from getting the hit
-same thing but on the 3rd strike, slid their arm into a lock. From there me and my partner were finding different ways to use this lock and where it would hurt on the opponent.

Hey Whitedragon I think it's time to try you out. It seems you been training alot so I figured that you must be really good at what you are doing. I am not challenging you, well maybe I am lol, but not in a bad way just a friendly match. I just like it when individuals train or seem to be training because it shows dedication to the arts and oneself. I was just wondering if all the training that your doing is paying off.

Bow out with respect from a juijitsu/judo/bagua zhang/TKD Martialist

Hi Effrain.
Yes I think all the training pays off. The last year I have learned everything I know about Pai Lum and practiced it, everyday in the summer. I train for self defense purposes, but also work on technique in my forms (making sure I do everything the right way when I pracice). I can see myself improving when I spar in class...

Thursday
Kungfu Class

-warm up
-floor drills
-inside crescent, 360 sweep (on the floor), step in side kick
-chinese crescent (jumping spinning crescent), jumping back kick
-chinese crescent, wheel kick
-inside sweep, outside sweep (on the floor, sorry dont really know the correct name)
-step in side kick on bag
-one man would hold the bag, then when everyone went the first person would hold the bag
-same thing for front kick
-same thing for 3 spinning back kicks
-break

-partner drills application
-attack- double punch... defense- punch lock for first, block and strike at the same time on the second, then grab ear and rip
-worked on elbow blocking (new to me). they threw multiple punches and you would work with elbow blocks
-attack- step in side kick... defense- half moon block with a step to the outside so that they have their back to you

the 1st and 3rd are application from the short form of the tiger, so i caught on quickly and effectively.
