I see a lot of people have training logs in strengthening forum. I am making one here for what I train in kungfu.

July 9th
-start off with a good warm up and dynamic stretching
-kicking steps for front kick, roundhouse, side, spinning back kick, and hook kick
this works for better kicks and better balance
-full speed: front, roundhouse, side, spnning back kick, hook kick, inside crescent, outside crescent
-slow/fast speed hand strikes: reverse punch, backfist, leapard paw, bear claw, reverse horizontal, vertical punch, reverse vertical, horizontal punch, upper cuts, 1 finger eye poke, double finger eye poke, pointer finger punch, middle knuckle punch
-daily dozen self defense
self defense moves we do on attackers but used no partner (because i have none)

Today
Forms Day-
-Short form of the tiger (10 slow, 10 fast)
-Movements of the Tiger (all slow because i am still getting down the moves)
-Chinese Stance Excercise
-Bo Form (only know beginning so did it 20 times)


Daily Dozen Self Defense.
-went over 11 of my self defense techniques
-5 times each

Blocks
-Pai Lum
-Forearm
-X blocks
-Exchange Blocks

Probably 2 hours of training. Felt Good but hot in the garage

Saturday July after yesterday (dont know date)
11 30- 12 30 (kungfu class)
-warmed up and stretched
-section A, B, C hand strikes
-drill to get better at dragons claw grip
-thru sand bag in a circle and had to catch it with dragons grip
-self defense with partners (down the list)
-chinese stance excercise
-short form of tiger

Sunday
(simple day because monday- thursday are sports/kungfu)

-strike excercise A (7 strikes)
-strike excercise B (7 different strikes)
-Daily Dozen self defense (5times each)
-went over blocks
-pai lum blocks, x blocks, exchange blocks, forearm blocks

very easy workout but like taking it easy once and a while

Monday July 16th,
(havent done it yet, but this is what I am going to do)

- kicks ( slow/steps of kick, speed/power)
- front kick
- roundhouse
-side kick
-hook kick
-inside crescent, outside crescent
-back kick, spinning back kick
-spinning inside, spinning outside crescent
-chinese crescent kicks
-axe kick
-lotus kick

To add/ change that. I meant wheel kick not lotus kick (lotus is axe kick at our school).

My left roundhouse seemed pretty bad today not sure why. I was really sore so I didnt do like last couple, and plan on doing them thursday.

Pretty disappointed with training today. But after I took a nice long stretch and felt really good.

Tuesday July 17th,

In the morning I had to help coach a football camp from 9-12.

Football Conditioning (4:30 t0 6:15)- had to leave at 6:15 to go to kungfu
-agility with ladder
-benching
-crunches (couldnt do squats cuz of tailbone so this was alternative)
-10 40yd sprints
(a lot easier conditioning then other 2 i have gone to so far)

Kungfu (7:00- 9:00)
- warm up
-alligator walks (push up then move forward), mountain climbs, rabbit jumping around dojo, duck walk around dojo (like lunges), stretches, ab excercises
- learned a new form (tension form)
- worked on application with certain moves form form (practice a move on a partner to learn what it actually is)
- learned a new self defense technique against a choke

Wed July 18th,
(private lesson)

-10 minute stretch getting ready
-went over my new tension form
-worked on the main stance (new to me)
-application for one of the movements. showed me by making me get out of a choke hold from it
-practiced short form of the tiger
-finished learning movements of the tiger
-did short form of the tiger and movements of the tiger together
-got timed and did it under 18 seconds (the requirement for it). they are pretty short about 10 moves each
-learned 3 new self defenses
- snake and ram, twisting bird, cobra and hawk
- worked on them against a partner (sifu)
- went over my other self defenses quickly
- worked on hook punch a little bit

-partner stretches
-worked on forms
- chinese stance excercise
-tension form
- short form of tiger, movements of tiger
-application for new stance learned in tension form
- had to be kicked in lower stomache and try to stay on balance in the stance
-had to sink into the kick and shift weight onto front foot
(this is the weirdest stance, cant even explain it)
