Yeah I definately agree with that. You cant represent kung fu as a whole. If they did what Ironfoot suggested, there wouldve been a beter representation of the kung fu styles

*SPOILER ALERT* Quote:
Bullshido.net got ahold of footage from this upcoming episode that shows Duff getting knocked out cold in his challenge match
Link
Wow! That is mildly hilarious to see huge Bill Duff get KTFO by a much smaller TKD guy.

well you dont need to cover everything in China, Japan and Korea but with the episodes that they do have they could've made it more specific. Well...they do stay pretty specific in their arts, except for Kung fu. They have a Karate episode, a Judo episode, a TKD episode but no, for example, Wing Chun/Southern Fist episode or a Northern Fist episode. Some kind of break down of the Chinese arts would have made the episode better.
but eh, this series is far from perfect.

If in the respect of IExcalibui2-sama's comment.
With regards to splitting down the Kung Fu into several Episodes then I would say that the Karate Episode should have been split down into atleast 2 or 3. Karate was based on traditional Styles, We could have had an Episode on Modern Karate like Ashihara karate, Enshin Karate and Japanese Kick boxing, then an episode on Freestyle and Sports karate

did anyone see the TKD episode??
something I noticed is that they like encorporating arts into an episode that arent the same art. For example, Hwa Rang Do. I definitely think that this art and TKD are separate and different. Tae Kyon, I can understand a little because it has many kicks and such which could have influenced the development of TKD, but whats Hwa Rang Do have to do with it?
Its like going to study Aikido for a Karate match because Aikido shares many Chin Na (wrist lock and grappling techniques) techniques with Karate.
Plus the episode didnt seem all that interesting compared to other episodes they've had. Lets hope the slow start doesnt continue to the future episodes.

Their history is off due to the huge amount of politics that surround TKD. There was no mention of General Choi or the ITF (which was not surprising). No mention whatsoever of the true roots from Shotokan (which did surprise me), but this has happened thru out the series as has been discussed on this thread. I still enjoyed the episode though.
