I wonder if our intrepid heroes will learn the 2,000 yr-old myth.
BTW...people like to rag on BB Magazine (yeah, I know that it's full of fluff, pop-MA & ads) but the January issue (w/ Royce Gracie on the cover) has an interesting interview of Kim Soo. Soo is one of the 1st TKD practitioners to teach in the US.

It's about time somebody didn't give those 2 a free ride. If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch with the puppies

I think Jason Chambers can compete as he has more of a MA background. But I do agree, I think that that they do get treated with some kid gloves. I'm not able to see the link as my laptop blocks out vids (work issued) and my home computer is crapping out on me.

Youtube: TheHistoryChannelTv Here you'll find most of the Human Weapon Episodes. I don't know if all that are already broadcasted are listed yet.

Thank you, but finding them isn't my problem. My PC has been freezing up on me and not going to the links. I finally was able to get it to down load. I'm thinking old Bill should have used more of this (footwork) and not depend on his size so much !

That's not Bill Duff. Bill Duff played in the NFL & would be much larger of a man, than this person in the video. Don't get me wrong though,I Think BD is goofball who's already been hit in the head from playing in the NFL,However I doubt that is him.

Have you not been watching this series? That most certainly is Bill Duff. He and Jason Chambers host the show and they reference his Pro Football career at the beginning of the show (that and his wrestling experience). By todays NFL standards, Bill Duff is not that big of a guy, 6'3" and 285 lbs in his rookie year (1999).

If you go to the history channel web sight and click on the Human Weapon series, you will see that he is listed as one of the shows host. That was him and he was KO'd !

that def. looked like Duff and why they decide to put him against a smaller and faster guy I have no clue. I think Chambers might've done better. Duff is too slow to do anything to the TKD guy.
Btw, I saw the Kungfu episode and was kind of disappointed. Just simply because of the way they approached it. I dont think they can cover the big umbrella that is Kungfu is 1 hour. Kungfu just means Chinese martial arts, and like Japanese martial arts there are many different wayts to fight (striking, grappling, long fist, short fist, etc.). And with the fight that was organized...not good. I hope they revisit China in the future.

Let's face it: they could/should have spent a whole season each in China and on Okinawa and probably Korea.
