TopBiLLin85 Member Registered: 02/07/07 Posts: 31 Loc: PA	Sup people I have been doing dynamic stretches for a few months.. my kicks are higher than ever.. but theres always room for improvement, right? Anyway, I just got some ankle weights to use while working out, and I had a thought.. If I wore them while doing dynamic stretches for my legs.. would it make them more effective or just slow down my process?

Mr_Heretik Veteran Registered: 05/20/05 Posts: 1074 Loc: Bronx NY, USA	I believe they can benefit your strength for static active flexibility, but you could end up hurting yourself doing leg swings. Even if done slowly, if you try leg swings again right after taking them off you may end up flinging your leg too far and over-stretching. I wouldn't use them for anything other than static active stretches.
