You're talking about a man who isn't like the normal person. For example, why do millions of boxers try to get the guard to become a second-nature when Ali kept his hands at his hips? Why doesn't all boxers adopt using the Philly-shell/hitman if Thomas Hearns was so successful with it? Why doesn't all boxers just blindly bullrush like Mike Tyson?

A little explanation. Those I've mentioned had something special, which can't really be copied imo. For example some people are just born heavy-handed like Gary Goodridge, Mike Tyson and there's nothing you can do about it.

Some people make certain technique work which honestly, I don't know how to explain why it does, it just does. You can watch all the dvd you want and say "well he does it this way, therefore it must be correct". Nothing I can say except, try it but don't blame me later for not telling you it doesn't work.

Methinks, instead of instructional dvd, get some proper training with a qualified COACH, not pro. I know pros who can't teach a damn, and coaches who can't fight worth a dime but can make people really good.

so , i went to see my doc today. Did an xray, bones look all good, but he says it may be some soft tissue damage.. wrapped my hand in elastic bandadge and told me to go easy and rest it.. If pain won`t go away i`ll have an MRI.. problem is and i`m worried because of my previous experience.. that this wrist won`t be the same anymore.. I thik i tore some tendon or ligament or something.. I did that to my right wrist about 10 years ago.. wasn`t using a glove and no wrap.. hit the bag also palm to the body and felt that sharp pain.. also rested my hand but the pain is still there after all those years when i do barbell curls with my palm up. When i use the palm side dumbell curls there is no pain. so obviously i damaged some ligament or tendon which is responsible for support of the bones. I`m afraid same thing happened to this wrist and resting and elastic bandage won`t help me... I read about wrist injuries and it looks like any torn ligament or tendon if required a surgery should be treated in the first 3 weeks.. later on surgeries are less effective.. I hate doctors.. they only look for $$$. my visit lasted few minutes.. and he specializes in SPORT MEDICINE/ ORTHOPEDIC MD.. he did no test with my wrist except an xray.. there are bunch of movement tests that check for ligament and tendon injuries but he did none... its all BS.. i`m kind of [censored].. if i return to my working out in 4 weeks and pain is still there and then i get to have MRI done and then told its too late for surgery i`ll be really mad.. anyway.. i hope nobody else injures themselves like that.. PALM down from now on...
