One strechin exercise i perform is really simple. Just lock your legs, and slowly start increasing the distance between your feet. Once you hit a slightly uncomforble point, hold that point for about 30 seconds... DO NOT PUT YOUR HANDS ON THE GROUND OR ON YOUR LEGS! Just relax them and let them hang. This kinda strenghens your inner thigh while streching it out at the same time. (nice for my sidekicks  )

Try spider streches, We do them At our dojo And Its helping me, Allthough You Dont wanna really kick high, A experienced Fighter Usually kicks by The knees Thighs Or Ribs or stomach "Never at the head" Believe me Iv tryed It All that flashy stuff It looks good But Dosent really work.

And you really believe this? Look at most of the KOs in the UFC or any good MA sport fighting people are KOed with head kicks left and right. Also, who do you think your fighting on the street? The majority is not going to know how to defend against head high attacks also. Lastly, in a real fight the body tends to tense up even though you feel relax the muscles tighten meaning that kick is not going to go as high as you may throw it causing more risk for injuries. Being able to kick higher, will reduce that risk or muscle tearing which can result. Thats why we train those kicks. I rather have head high kicks in my arsenal to give my opponent something to think about rather than the same low kicks which will not do the instant damage a great head kick will cause. What happen to push yourself pass your limits and strive for more. Don't compromise with your limits push past them.

hhmm, would you kick a knife weilding apponent to the head? or, what if no weapons are involved, but there are more than one, would u still risk kicking to the head? Kicking that high in a Street SD situation is very risky.

Ok so Im a student in The Bujinkan System, And from what iv seen High kicks dont work, I mean I respect all martial arts, But Iv seen a Green belt in Ninjutsu Woop The crap out of a 2nd Dan in Akijutsu Stuff happends The Akijutsu guy Was trying to kick him alot, And All You really have to do is Step off at angles and Dodge the kicks Ukes Etc,+ A Bjj Guy would Prob go in for a choke When you turned for a kick. Alot of stuff aint allowed in most tournaments, "Pressure point strikes Like necks strikes, shutos, Groin strikes, Thigh strikes, etc If All them were allowed. It would make it a good tournament, Ninjutsu is not allowed in Ufc etc Cause of Koppojutsu"Bone Breaking" etc And its Violent Techniques. I mean seriously Whos gonna stand There and Get kicked in the face? "Just Pointing out my reason" Domo Arigato My Friends.
