Not to hijack the thread, but i can't seem to do a side split either. I can side kick my friend in the head (if i wanted to, not that i would) and he's 6'4". The problem is that when i go down, my hips start to hurt. I'm only a few inches from the floor but it feels like my hips are going to dislocate when i try doing a side split. What should i do about that?
