Ed_Morris Professional Poster Registered: 11/04/05 Posts: 6768	Matt, most do. and Japanese is the only language taught in their school system now. go back one generation and most Okinawans were bilingual. go back a gen after that and most spoke Hogen (Okinawan 'dialect' quite different from Japanese). Ryukyu language has been dying and is all but nearly gone.
