Meetings at work should be considered on the job training for this.

The Art of Doing Nothing, like any other art, requires lots and lots of hard work to be good at.

Lots and lots of hard work?

I think it's neigh impossible to do. As soon as I sit down and start, I'm doing something. I'm sitting down doing nothing. See?

Yep... kids are Masters of Doing Nothing...

Me: "So... what are you guys doing?"
Them: "Oh... nothing..."
Me: "Great, can you give me a hand to do something?"
Them: "Nope, we're BUSY!"

Uh huh...

See my dad's gotten smart over the years. Any time I go over to his house and I'm inside he'll just yell for me from the back door.
Dad: "Casey, you in here?"
Me: "Yes I am!"
Dad: "Come 'ere!"
Me: "Whacha need Dad?" As I'm making my way to him.
Dad: "I wanted to show you what I found the other day."
They own five acres out in the middle of no where and have only been in the house for two years so they are always finding odd things.
Me: "What now Dad? Another rusty wrench?"
Dad: "No but now that you are here I need a spry child."
Me: "Dad, I'm 27, you have a younger child."
Dad: "Yeah but she's not spry enough. Could you wiggle yourself underneath that work bench and see what that red thing is"
Me: "Fine but if I see a roach or spider over an inch I'm kicking your @$$!"

Funnily enough, since I stopped trying at work and just did a bare minimum I've had great feedback.
